As we begin 2018, I'd like to sincerely thank everyone who supported me in 2017. Here's a look back at what happened in 2017. 2017 was quite a year and started out with a bang with our inclusion in the first Puptown Girl Box.  We were on vacation and I woke up to a tag on Facebook linking back to the first unboxing video, what a fantastic way to start the day!  We have been featured in a couple more boxes through the year, The Bundle Box being the newest addition.  This box provides hand curated gifts for both mom and baby...

Our schedule for the upcoming holiday season is filling up!   I'll be set up at Evo Studio in Orleans this Saturday from 9AM - 12PM.  Stop by and sign up for one or both of the classes they're offering.  I'll be giving out free bath bombs to all that participate. Next weekend is the annual Lions Club Craft Fair at St. Mark High School in Manotick, Ontario.  This will be our second year participating and we'll be in Gym A/B once again. There are only 2 weekends left for the Metcalfe Farmers' Market and although we'll be happy to have the option of sleeping in on Saturdays (until Christmas markets start up), we're going to miss our market family! This year the market started allowing dogs to enter the market building and we love it!  We're right across the aisle from Three Dogs & An Oven, a lovely lady who bakes up all natural dog cookies.  She knows every dog by name and they all make a bee-line to her booth and sit nicely while waiting for their samples. I'm a week late posting our September calendar.  We took a quick trip to Montreal via train, (which I highly recommend) for a quick visit with friends which included a delicious meal at a Mexican restaurant, an amazing hotel, shopping and the highlight - seeing Depeche Mode! There are only 2 more weekends remaining for the Heart of Orleans Market and we'll be there for both!   There will be no market in Metcalfe on September 30th, the 161st Metcalfe Fair is happening that weekend.  One of the oldest fairs in Canada, it's well worth the trip!  

This summer is just flying by!  The farmers' markets are filling up with fresh produce and we've already received our chicken and pork CSA shares.  If you're looking for local, organic meat be sure to stop in to see Amber at Arc Acres if you're visiting the Metcalfe Farmers' Market. I've added some accessories to the store.
